BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Friday, the person claimed a winning 50X the Cash ticket that was bought at Krauszers on Fairfield Avenue.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners' names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.
The game, which recently ended, cost $5 per ticket and began in January.
All the top prizes of $100,000 were claimed, but holders of winning tickets have until April 21, 2027, to claim other prizes.
