Bed, Bath & Beyond Larceny Arrest Made Involving Bridgeport Resident: Milford Police

Police say the accused tried to take an item off of the shelf and return it.

MILFORD, CT — Police said they have made an arrest in a 2016 larceny that occurred at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

On June 19, Milford police took custody of Jacquez Johnson, 26, of Pearl Harbor Street in Bridgeport, in regards to an active arrest warrant, police said.

Johnson is accused of attempting to return an item for cash at the 1212 Boston Post Road store on Oct. 27, 2016 that he allegedly took off the shelf and brought to the return aisle, police said.

He is charged with criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and given a court date of July 18.
