Bridgeport BOE Member Arrested

The Board of Education member was arrested at a rowdy condominium association meeting.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport Board of Education member was arrested after a condominium association got rowdy, according to police.

Maria Pereira, who doesn't like at Success Village Apartments was charged with breach of peace, interfering with police and criminal trespass, according to the Connecticut Post.

Pereira was at the meeting to support a board member who eventually was replaced in a vote, the Post reports. She was asked to leave and police were called.
