Bridgeport Crash Leads To 3rd Arrest In Brooks Brothers Scam: PD

More than $27,000 in false returns were made as part of the scam, police said.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A third man has been arrested in connection with a return scam at the Stamford Brooks Brothers store after a crash in Bridgeport, according to police.

Kyler Williams, 26, was taken into custody on an active warrant after he crashed into a tree over the weekend, according to the Connecticut Post.

Co-conspirator Alzonzo Days, 25, of Bridgeport issued Williams more than $11,000 in refunds for clothing he didn't purchase, police said. Days processed more than $27,000 in fraudulent returns.
