Bridgeport Man Arrested On Narcotics Charges In Milford: PD

Police said they worked with a DEA office to help make the arrest.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man has been arrested on narcotics charges while in Milford, police said. On Nov. 2, members of the Milford Police Tactical Unit, with the assistance of the DEA Bridgeport Office and Bridgeport Police apprehended Richard Smith, 31, of East Main Street on an outstanding warrant stemming from an investigation into the sale of narcotics, police said.

He is charged with two counts of sale of narcotics and conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics. He was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
