Bridgeport Man Broke Into Vehicle, Arrested After Milford Neighbor Followed Him And Called Police: Police

A Police Department K-9 team helped in making the arrest.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of taking items from a vehicle in Milford and the Stratford Police Department's K-9 helped apprehend the suspect, police said. On Oct. 8, officers responded to Bridgeport Avenue near Ellis Street on a report of a possible burglary.

Investigation led to the arrest of Lawrence Daddario, 26, of Brooks Street, who was found with the assistant of Stratford Police Department's K-9 team, hiding in a yard on Housatonic Drive, police said.

Daddario is accused of attempting to take items from a vehicle on Berwyn Street, police said. A neighborhood resident saw him going through a vehicle and contacted Milford police while following him onto Bridgeport Avenue, police said.

He is charged with third-degree burglary, criminal attempt at third-degree burglary and interfering and resisting arrest. He was given a court date of Oct. 31.
