Bridgeport Man Charged with Assaulting Woman in Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of assaulting a woman in Milford while they were outside of a house, Milford police said. On May 7 officers responded to a Southern Parkway residence on a report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Cain Parsell, 23, of Livingston Place, who is accused of engaging in a physical altercation with a female outside of the residence, police said. Parsell had left the residence prior to police arrival, but turned himself in after speaking with the officers over the phone, police said.

He is charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court.
