Bridgeport Man Charged With Manslaughter

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A local man has been charged with manslaughter after he shot and killed a man May 24, according to police.

Shardel Ragin, 30, was charged with the shooting death of Willie Nance, according to the Connecticut Post. Nance had gone to talk wit ha group of people who allegedly shot his cousin, but someone pulled a gun and Nance pulled his, police said.

There have been six homicides in Bridgeport this year.
