Bridgeport Man Charged With Murder In Stratford Shooting: PD

A man was shot and killed in Stratford in May and police on Monday announced a second arrest in the case. BREAKING

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford police announced the second arrest in connection with the shooting death of Andre Pettway, 27, of Bridgeport on May 27. Stratford police said Chris Concepcion, 24, of Bridgeport was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Pettway in Stratford, police said.

The arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation into the murder by Stratford Police Investigators. Police had already arrested Brandyn Ford, 24, of Stratford, on May 29.

Concepcion was charged with murder, weapons in a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and carrying a firearm without a permit.

Ford was charged with murder, weapon in a motor vehicle, risk of injury to minors, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.

He is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on July 26 and was held on a $750,000 bond.
