Bridgeport Man Charged In NY Holiday Weekend DWI Crackdown

BRIDGEPORT, NY — New York State Police in Troop K said they removed 27 impaired drivers from public roads over the 2019 Memorial Day weekend. A Bridgeport man is among those accused.

On May 26, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Cristian V. Lopez Morocho, 33, of Bridgeport, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
