Bridgeport Man Found In Possession Of Stolen Car: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond for stealing a vehicle, Milford Police say. On July 24, Milford Police located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Howard Johnson's Motel at 1052 Boston Post Road, police said.

Police said the vehicle was unoccupied and shortly thereafter, officers saw a man and a female attempting to enter the vehicle and they detained the couple, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Markie Thergood, 42, of Park Avenue, who is accused of being in possession of the stolen motor vehicle, police said.

He is charged with third-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.
