Bridgeport Man Found In Stolen Car: Milford Police

The accused was also wanted on another charge, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of stealing a car and being stopped in Milford, police said. On July 31, Milford Police stopped a stolen vehicle on Bridgeport Avenue near Naugatuck Avenue.

Investigation led to the arrest of Harvel Carter, 25, of Alice Street, who is accused of being in possession of a stolen car, police said. Further investigation showed Carter to have an active arrest warrant as he is accused of failing to appear in curt from a motor vehicle arrest by State Police on Feb. 13, police said.

He is charged with third-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear.
