Bridgeport Man Had 19 Baggies of Crack/Cocaine, Pot After Traffic Stop in Milford: Police

Police say the car was stopped initially for a moving violation.

MILFORD, CT — A motor vehicle stop in Milford lead the discovery of marijuana and 19 baggies of crack/cocaine, police said.

Police said on Dec. 22 officers stopped a vehicle driven by Julio Niola, 22, of Sunchine Circle in Bridgeport for a moving violation on Schoolhouse Road near Interstate 95 Exit 35 on-ramp.

Investigation led to the arrest of Niola, who is accused of being in possession of marijuana and 19 baggies of crack/cocaine, police said.

Further check revealed that Niola to have a suspended drivers license, police said.

He is charged with possession of marijuana, two counts of possession with intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance.

He is due to appear in Superior Court, Milford on Jan. 17.
