Bridgeport Man Killed In Shelton Rollover Crash: State Police

A Bridgeport man was killed in a Shelton crash after the car he was driving struck some trees and rolled over, according to state police.

SHELTON, CT — A 51-year-old Bridgeport man was killed in a crash on Route 8 in Shelton after the car he was driving struck some trees and rolled over Sunday evening, according to state police.

According to an accident information summary provided by state police, Clinton McDevitt was driving a 2003 Acura MDX Touring near Exit 13 of Route 8 northbound around 5 p.m. when he entered the left shoulder of the highway.

The car then entered the median, crashed into several trees and rolled over, state police said.

McDevitt sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.
