Bridgeport Man Pleads Guilty to Sex Trafficking of Underage Girl

The man may be facing life in prison.

HARTFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man plead guilty Friday in U.S. District court for the sex trafficking of a young girl. Brandon Williams, also known as “14K,” 35, plead guilty to one count of sex trafficking of a minor.

Court documents and statements say that Williams caused a girl under the age of 18 to commit commercial sex acts. He advertised the victim's services on websites Backpage and Cityvibe; and also rented hotel rooms for him and the victim to stay in.

He has been detained since his arrest in August of 2015. The charge of sex trafficking of a minor carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
