Bridgeport Man Sentenced For Dealing Heroin, Fentanyl: Feds
A Bridgeport man accused of having gang connections has been sentenced to federal prison.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport man has been sentenced to three years and one month in prison for gang-related drug sales, according to a statement from Leonard C Boyle, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Anthony Gilchrist, 32, will also serve three years of supervised release.
According to prosecutors, federal and local police began an investigation into Bridgeport-based gangs including the “Greene Homes Boyz” (“GHB/Hotz”), a gang based in the Charles F. Greene Homes Housing Complex in Bridgeport’s North End, responsible for distributing heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and Percocet pills.
Gang members were also accused of committing numerous acts of violence against rival gang members and other people, and celebrated their criminal conduct on social media websites such as Facebook and YouTube, according to prosecutors.

GHB/Hotz members and associates also intimidated and threatened potential witnesses to their crimes to protect gang members from detection and prosecution.
In January and February 2020, investigators made controlled purchases of a mixture of heroin and fentanyl from Gilchrist at the Greene Homes Housing Complex, according to prosecutors

Gilchrist was a member or associate of GHB/Hotz who had recently been released from state custody after receiving a 15-year jail sentence, suspended after eight years, for selling drugs.
In November, he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl.
