Bridgeport Man Sentenced In Oxy Dealing Case

A Bridgeport man has been sentenced in a oxycodone dealing case.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport man has been sentenced to two years in prison for oxycodone distribution, according to a statement from federal prosecutors. Jordan Rodofsky, 57, will also serve three years of supervised release.

Prosecutors alleged that between May and September 2018, law enforcement made controlled purchases of various quantities of oxycodone from Rodofsky. During one transaction, on Aug. 7, 2018, investigators purchased 96 30mg oxycodone pills from Rodofsky for $3,400.

Rodofsky was arrested on Sept. 11, 2018. On June 12, 2019, he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, oxycodone.

Rodofsky, who is released on a $150,000 bond, was ordered to report to prison on March 12, 2020.

This matter was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Haven Tactical Diversion Squad and was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer R. Laraia.
