Bridgeport Man Shot Multiple Times, Seriously Injured, Police Say

The shooting occurred Saturday night on Park Street.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 27-year-old Bridgeport man suffered abdomen and leg injuries Saturday night when he was shot multiple times in the 400 block of Park Street in Bridgeport, according to police. The victim was listed in serious but stable condition.

The shooting occurred at about 10:15 p.m., and police were alerted to the scene by a ShotSpotter activation, which registered six gunshots. When officers arrived, they found the victim, and he was quickly transported to an area hospital.

Detectives identified a crime scene near the intersection of Park and Stillman streets, and authorities are investigating several leads.
