Bridgeport Murder Suspect Extradited Back To U.S. From Jamaica
The suspect is accused of murdering Bridgeport resident Andre Brown in January 2022, according to Bridgeport police.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 39-year-old woman has been extradited back to the United States from Jamaica to face charges in connection with the January 2022 murder of Bridgeport resident Andre Brown, Bridgeport police announced.
On Thursday, members of the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force took Iyana Reynolds into custody. She had been located in the island country before being extradited to the U.S., where the fugitive task force transported her to the Bridgeport Police Department on Thursday.

- Murder
- Commission of A, B or C Felony with a firearm
- Carrying a pistol without a permit
Brown, 36, was shot at about 10 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2022, and he was found lying in the front yard of 100 Marcel St. in Bridgeport. He was rushed to St. Vincent's Medical Center, where he later died.
Details of how Reynolds became a suspect were not disclosed, but when the murder occurred, police said it was an isolated incident "where the victim knew the suspect."

Reynolds is being held in lieu of bail of $2.5 million, and she is scheduled to be arraigned in Bridgeport Superior Court on Friday.
