BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police said that 26-year-old Bridgeport resident Asyah Yates, who was reported missing by family members on Monday, has been found safe.

"Asyah Yates has been found on the West Coast and is currently at a safe location," said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement. "Family has been notified. Silver alert will be cancelled."
