Bridgeport Prisoner Dead By Strangulation: Report
Steven Bailey, 43, had been charged with violation of his probation on a prior conviction of obscenity with a minor, a report says.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A pretrial prisoner at the Bridgeport Correctional Center died from strangulation while in custody Sunday, according to the New Haven Register.
Steven Bailey, 43, from New Haven was arrested in Milford on March 20 and charged with violation of his probation on a prior conviction of obscenity with a minor, the outlet reported.
He was found unresponsive at 7 a.m. Sunday and was pronounced dead at the hospital, Connecticut State Police told Patch.
