Bridgeport Risks Loss Of State Grants Over Traffic Reports

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The city risks losing state grants after the police department fell behind on submitting traffic stop data to the state.
Nearly all departments in the state submit the data electronically, but Bridgeport keeps paper records, according to the Connecticut Post.
An audit found a large discrepancy in data between submitted traffic stop reports and police dispatch records.
