Bridgeport Shooting Arrest Made

Two people were shot during a dispute.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Stamford man was charged with attempted murder and other crimes after a shooting last year in Bridgeport.

Police said that Jonathan Ariza, 24, shot a couple Oct. 16 near Hudson Street and Capitol Avenue, according to the Connecticut Post.

The female victim told police her boyfriend went outside of her home to quiet a crowd and he started to get shoved. She went out to help him when shots were fired. Witnesses told police the suspect left in an SUV.
