Bridgeport Woman Arrested After Shots-Fired Call: Report
A Bridgeport woman was arrested for having a stolen gun that had been recently fired.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police arrested a woman who had a stolen gun that had been "recently fired" Thursday night, according to The Connecticut Post. Iris Cruz, 33, of Bridgeport, was charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, stealing a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a pistol/revolver and second-degree criminal mischief.
Police responded to a shots-fired call just after 11 p.m. Thursday at the 600 block of East Main Street. No one was struck by the bullets, The Post reported.
