Police say an officer had to break a window to check on the woman's safety as it appeared she had trouble breathing.

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport woman, who appeared to have difficulty breathing, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and a Milford police officer had a break a car window to reach her, police said.
On Jan. 30, police saw a suspicious vehicle parked and running on Old Field Road near Sea Flower Road. Upon investigation, police saw a female, Jennifer Spezzano, 39, of Westfield Avenue, slumped over the steering wheel, police said.
The officer attempted to wake Spezzano, who appeared to be "ineffectively breathing," but could not, police said. After checking all doors which were locked, the officer had to break a window to the car to check on her safety, police said. She then woke up and was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
