Bridgeport Woman Sentenced In Beating Death Of Her Uncle: Report

The woman, a licensed caregiver, was sentenced in connection with the 2017 death.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A licensed caregiver accused of beating her disabled uncle to death was sentenced to 15 years in prison earlier this week, according to The Connecticut Post.

Tynisha Hall, 39, of Bridgeport, was initially charged with murder, then later pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, first-degree abuse of an elderly person, and three counts of risk of injury to a child.

Hall was sentenced in connection with the 2017 death of her uncle, Robert Jones, 51, of Trumbull.
