Bridgeport Woman Tries to Steal $104 Worth of Candy From Costco's in Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — Police say a Bridgeport woman allegedly stole $104 worth of candy from Costco. On March 28 officers responded to Costco at 1718 Boston Post Road on a report of a shoplifter fighting with a loss prevention agent, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Dorsey Saunders, 40, of Robin Street in Bridgeport, who is accused of concealing approximately $104 worth of candy and attempting to leave the store, police said.

When confronted by loss prevention, Saunders pushed the agent in an attempt to flee, police said.

She is charged with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace.
