Car Stolen With Children In Backseat: Bridgeport PD
The children were reunited with their father and the suspect was apprehended.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man carjacked a car in Bridgeport Thursday night with two kids inside, according to police.
Father Jovenky Alcide told News 12 that he went to pick up food from a restaurant and left his two children 10 and 5-years-old in the vehicle. His older son ran up to him and said the car was stolen.
Police eventually found and pulled the vehicle over on Lordship Boulevard near the Stratford/Bridgeport line. The younger child had been let out of the vehicle, according to the Connecticut Post.

Bridgeport Police were then notified about a young child by himself on James Street near Jones Avenue. He was safely returned to his father.
The suspect was in the hospital and will be charged when released, according to News 12.
