City Of Bridgeport Filling Potholes And Clearing Debris

With Spring right around the corner, the City of Bridgeport Department of Public Facilities (DPF) is ramping up ongoing work to address potholes and maintain Park City roads.

In addition to repairing and filling potholes from harsh winter occurrences, Public Facilities crews are conducting cleanups in every district of the city. Crews are focusing on sweeping, madvacing, and illegal dumping pickup.

The City of Bridgeport is asking residents to do their part to keep their neighborhood clean by:

Picking up litter in your yard or sidewalk

Utilizing the City’s free Transfer Station

Ensuring your trash and recycle bins are not overflowing

Participate in or organize a Park City Pickin’ It Up event

Keep a litter bag in your car to dispose of litter properly

The City of Bridgeport Department of Public Facilities responds to approximately 1000 pothole patching service requests per year. Mayor Ganim reminds residents that the Bridgeport Department of Public Facilities relies on the community to help identify areas in need. Bridgeport residents can report potholes to the Operations Division at 203 576-7124 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residents may also report a concern using the mobile reporting app SeeClickFix (available through the iTunes store or Google Play for Android).
