Cops Seek Help Identifying Suspect In Bridgeport Robbery

The robbery occurred on Jan. 10 at Mike's Deli on Fairfield Avenue, according to police.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a Jan. 10 robbery at Mike’s Deli at 2808 Fairfield Ave. in Bridgeport.

The incident occurred at about 12:20 a.m. with the suspect entering the store and motioning "as if he had a firearm," said Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement. He then stole an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving.

Bridgeport police released the above surveillance photo of the suspect.

"The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hat, blue jacket with black sleeves, tan khaki pants, and tan boots," Gilleran said. "The suspect left the store walking eastbound on Fairfield Avenue."
