Drugs Found In Bridgeport Man’s Low-Hanging Pants: Stratford PD
The man was arrested after police say drugs were found in his low-hanging pants in the 'groin area.'

STRATFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after police say drugs were found in his low-hanging pants in the “groin area.” Members of the Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit were conducting routine patrol when they stopped a vehicle on Stratford Avenue for minor motor vehicle violations on March 11, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Eannotti said detectives were interviewing the driver, 28-year-old Edward Johnson, when they noticed that his pants were hanging low and “black plastic” was protruding from his waistband.
“This appeared suspicious to the detectives,” Eannotti wrote in a press release. “During a pat down of Johnson, the detectives felt a large object secreted in his groin area that they knew was not part of the male anatomy. The object was removed and found to be 108 grams of cocaine and approximately50 grams of marijuana.”
