OH how I remember these guys.Their record ''YOU BELONG TO ME''had sentimental value to yours' truly.This all AMERICAN singing group had a unique sound which could not be copied.Formed originally as THE PARISIANS IN 1960.These guys started out in JERSEY CITY,NJ.MICHAEL ARNONE,JOE SANTOLLO,JOHN SALVATO,TOM BIGALOW,were highschool students when discovered.COED RECORDS put them under contract.IN the 60's the group was known as THE DUPREES.Their first hit was ''YOU BELONG TO ME.''.ANOTHER hit song was ''MY OWN TRUE LOVE.'',AND ''GONE WITH THE WIND.''.CAME later''HAVE YOU HEARD;'' and ''WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE ME''THEIR music played frequently MANY lead singer changes occurred too.IF you watch their videos they take you back to those special days truly gone but not forgotten though.Those golden years of our music will live forever in my memory.
