BRIDGEPORT, CT — The main entrance to the Margaret E. Morton Center, Bridgeport's City Hall, is undergoing a reconstruction that is expected to last 10 months, announced Mayor Joseph Ganim.

Part of the main entrance is slated to be demolished and rebuilt, which is why the project will take close to a year to complete.

"With all the improvements happening in our City, I’m happy that we’re able to tend to our municipal buildings as well," Ganim said in a statement. "My hope is that these improvements will allow for a smoother entrance into City Hall and will be a great way to start off the 2024 year."
