GoFundMe Page Established to Benefit Children of Deceased Bridgeport Parents
Felipe Soto was struck by a car and killed last year, and Elianna Cruz, the mother of his children, was shot and killed this week.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A GoFundMe page has been established to benefit the children of Bridgeport parents who were killed in separate incidents in less than an year.
Felipe "Petey" Soto was killed last summer when his car was struck by a speeding vehicle, and Elianna Cruz was shot and killed this week. The two had two children, and Cruz also had a third child, reports the Connecticut Post.
"This is absolutely devastating for our families," wrote Lissette Soto, Felipe's sister, on GoFundMe. "Through these difficult times we are supporting each other. We talk about our losses and our sadness. We lean on each other for support. We will make sure that the love and exuberant lives of my big brother Pete and Elianna will always be felt in the hearts of those they left behind."
