Man, 19, Injured In Shooting Outside Club: Bridgeport Police
The man was hospitalized after the shooting early New Year's Day in Bridgeport, according to police.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 19-year-old Bridgeport man was shot outside a club in Bridgeport early New Year’s Day, according to police.
Police responded to Federal Street around 3 a.m. on Jan. 1 on the report of a person shot in the leg.
The incident began inside Club Azul, 922 Madison Avenue, and ended with the shooting taking place outside the club on Federal Street, according to police.

Police said the victim was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital. Police later received information that the victim was at an area hospital, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
