Man, 22, Shot Multiple Times By Masked Suspects In Bridgeport: Reports

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 22-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after he was shot in the leg and hand on Wheeler Avenue in Bridgeport Wednesday night, according to multiple reports.

The suspects are two masked men who walked up to the victim around 8:20 p.m. and attempted to rob him before one of them pulled out a gun and shot him, NBC Connecticut reported.

Police applied a tourniquet to the man's wounds while they awaited paramedics, according to CTPost.

The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening, according to the outlet, which cited Bridgeport's director of emergency management.
