Man Charged In Bridgeport Barber Shop Stabbing: Report

A man was arrested on charges that he committed a stabbing Wednesday.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man has been arrested on charges that he stabbed a barber multiple times in the back, The Connecticut Post reported. Alexander Gabriel, 22 was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was held on $1 million bond.

Gabriel had recently been released on from prison on an unrelated assault conviction.

Gabriel is accused of walking into Evolution Barber Shop on North Avenue Wednesday wearing a ski mask and stabbing a barber multiple times in the back, according to The Connecticut Post.
