Man Killed Overnight In Shooting: Bridgeport Police
"Detectives are working to determine the motive for the homicide," a police department news release said.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man was killed in a shooting Friday night, according to Bridgeport police.
Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. to the 1000 block of Stratford Avenue, where they found Fredrick Shelby suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. Shelby, 43, of the 100 block of Union Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
"Detectives are working to determine the motive for the homicide," a police department news release said.
