Man Shot During Dispute In Bridgeport: Police
The shooting occurred early Friday on Park Avenue in Bridgeport, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 25-year-old Bridgeport man was injured early Friday when he was shot during a dispute in the 1600 block of Park Avenue in Bridgeport, according to authorities.
The victim was treated in an area hospital and was released, according to Bridgeport Public Information Director Tiadora Josef.
Police were notified about shots fired on Park Avenue at about 1:40 a.m., and minutes later, the victim showed up at the hospital.

The victim told police that he was "having a verbal disagreement" with a man he did not know, when the man left on foot, returned a short time later with a gun and shot him.
Police said the shooter was described as a Hispanic man. No other description was provided by police.

The investigation into the shooting remains active, according to Josef.
