Again are streets have became unsafe.WHY?IT seems gun fire has occurred to much in our news media lately.NO BRIDGEPORTER should have to live in fear.YESTERDAYS' news shows over 30 bullets fired in a area damaging cars, homes, property.Luckily there were no injuries or death.SO what is next ?IS today going to be a repeat of yesterday ?WE need to really take a look at our gun laws and see why they are not working. When I grew up here in the 40's in the ''HOLLOW''I do not remember gun violence.OUR society has changed dramatically.I am, not sure where the answer lies to make our city safer.OUR leaders in the political ring need to see that better gun laws are put in pl;ace so we can live in a peaceful community and not live in fear.
