No Date Yet For Bridgeport Mayoral Primary: Report
The John Gomes and Joseph Ganim camps have not reached a consensus on when to hold the court-mandated primary.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A date has not yet been set for the court-mandated mayoral primary in Bridgeport, as representatives for challenger John Gomes and Mayor Joseph Ganim have yet to reach a consensus on when to hold it, the Connecticut Post reported.
The Gomes camp wants to hold the primary on Dec. 19, while the Ganim camp reportedly argues that a December date is too soon, and they want to push the primary off to January.
Superior Court Judge Stephen Clark gave the two sides until Wednesday to present which day they would like for the primary to be held, or to present different dates.

Ganim narrowly defeated Gomes in last week's election, with the specter of a new primary hanging overhead.
In the September primary, Gomes won the machine count, but lost to Ganim once the absentee ballots were counted. However, Judge Clark ruled that Gomes proved that there were problems with alleged ballot stuffing.
