BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are investigating after a driver hit and seriously injured a pedestrian, then fled the scene, according to The Connecticut Post. The 46-year-old Noble Avenue resident was in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital.

The crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Noble Avenue and Putnam Street. A red minivan hit the pedestrian, then fled southbound on Noble Avenue, The Post reported.
