Police Search For Suspect In Islamic Center Burglary In Bridgeport

The burglary at the Islamic Community Center on Clinton Avenue occurred on Oct. 14.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in the Oct. 14 burglary of the Islamic Community Center at 468 Clinton Ave. in Bridgeport. See the surveillance images above.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m., and the stole several computer tablets and a digital camera, according to authorities.

According to Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran, the suspect is described as a thin-built, Black male, with a goatee type beard and mustache. Additionally, the suspect was wearing black pants and black and red sweatshirt with distinct writing on the front and back.
