Police Seek 'Person Of Interest' In Fatal Stabbing Of Bridgeport Teen

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a "person of interest" in connection with the fatal stabbing of Bridgeport teen Trevon Pierce over Memorial Day weekend.
Bridgeport resident Khalil McIntosh, 18, has been arrested on a charge of murder in the case, and is being held in lieu of bail of $1 million. He was arraigned in Bridgeport Superior Court on Wednesday, and will be tried as an adult; his next court date is June 27, reported the Connecticut Post.
Police are looking for the person in the surveillance image above. Details of his alleged connection to the stabbing were not disclosed.

Pierce was stabbed shortly before 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of Park Avenue, near the intersection with Washington Avenue, on May 29th.
In addition to murder, McIntosh was also charged with carrying a dangerous weapon.

The Post writes that McIntosh and Pierce were former students at Bassick High School. McIntosh told police that he acted in self-defense, but surveillance video appears to contradict that claim, according to authorities.
"Anyone with information on the above person of interest is asked to call the Bridgeport Police Homicide Unit at (203) 581-5293," wrote Bridgeport Police Homicide Det. Jeffrey Holtz in a statement. "All information will be kept confidential.
