BOY do I remember this company.This was BRIDGEPORTS' main pie producer at the time right here on KOSSUTH ST.IT was founded by WILLIAM RUSSELL FRISBEE in 1871.YES that history traces way back.The building was formerly THE OLDS BAKING COMPANY.AND oddly enough the tossing of the empty pie plate became a toy sensation through WHAMO with the rage of tossing a rubber disc called THE FRISBEE.THIS started a new craze that lasted for years.THE pies sold at the time in various cities here in our state.The bakery closed in 1958 and TABLE TALK PIES commanded our attention.DAN O'CONNOR from FAIRFIELD CT.started up TABLE TALK PIES.THE pie companys became a legend in our city.
