Suspects Involved In Drug Bust, Car Chase Found In Bridgeport: Milford Police
Police said they also found heroin inside the vehicle.

MILFORD, CT — Police seized heroin after a pursuit and foot chase that resulted in the arrests of two Milford residents, police said. On July 26, Milford police observed a 2002 Honda Accord, which they later learned to be stolen, operating erratically south on North Street and onto the Boston Post Road, police said.
Patrol units attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 near Plains Road, police said. The driver failed to stop the vehicle and drove onto Interstate 95 South at a high rate of speed, police said. With the assistance of the Stratford Police Department, the vehicle was found in Bridgeport, police said.
The occupants attempted to flee on foot and were apprehended hiding in a nearby garage, police. The accuseds are John Budnovitch, 21, of Valley View Road and Jacquelyn Novak, 20, of Vernon Court, police said. Police said heroin and related paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle.

Budnovitch is charged with third-degree larceny, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, interfering/resisting arrest, no license, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Novak is charged with interfering/resisting arrest, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Budnovitch was released on a $20,000 bond.
