Texts Lead To Bridgeport PD Captain On Leave
A police captain allegedly sent racist texts about another officer.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police Captain Mark Straubel was placed on administrative leave after he allegedly sent racist texts about another officer.
The leave will be paid, according to the Connecticut Post.
Straubel texted someone to tell them that he had asked a black officer if he had seen the movie Planet of the Apes and if it made him homesick, according to the Post.
