Treasured Memories OF Pleasure Beach

THIS WAS OUR DISNEYLAND

WITH SUMMER behind us my thoughts wander off to the days of PLEASURE BEACH.AS a kid-this was a great place for the day to ride the rides.I remember riding the C.R.L.BUS across the old wooden bridge. The excitement built as the bus reached the island as we gazed upon all the rides especially the giant roller coaster with the riders screaming loudly as it dipped hard around the layout.I could not wait to buy tickets and get in line for a day of fun.I remember the penny arcade and the french fries aroma in the SUMMER breeze.I ate all day long with the wide choices of ice cream, candy apples, cotton candy ,peanuts etc. What a pity all the fun and excitement is gone. With the loss of the bridge due to a fire the beach closed never again will the fun and laughter fill the air with excitement.ALL we have now are golden memories of what use to be.
