BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 41-year-old woman was killed and a man seriously injured during a Halloween night shooting.
The shots were fired on Maplewood Avenue, according to the Connecticut Post. The 28-year-old male victim was undergoing surgery Thursday morning. Police didn't release the names of the victims.
The woman's death marks the eight homicide of the year in the city.
