Event Details

330 Hazard Ave, Enfield, CT, 06082

On Friday, Sept 11, 2026 @ 7:00, The No Cover Café kicks off its third season with acts featuring women. Performers will include recording artists, Belle of the Fall and Robi Polgar on the Main Stage. The Emerging Artist stage will feature Gary Turrel during the intermission.

On The Main Stage

Belle of the Fall is a Connecticut indie-folk duo blending soulful harmonies, acoustic upright bass, and atmospheric Americana melodies. Julia Autumn Ford’s luminous voice is nothing short of heavenly. Her expressive delivery moves effortlessly from intimate whisper to soaring power. Tracy Walton’s upright bass work brings deep melodic sensibility and rhythmic command, anchoring each song with warmth and subtle authority.

Robi Polgar, singer-songwriter, recently relocated (2023) to Glastonbury after 33 years playing in Austin, solo and in a couple of bands. Hugely influenced by UK Invasions ('60s - post-punk), '80s College Radio and protest singers of all eras. E.g.: Beatles, Elvis Costello, The Jam, Billy Bragg, The Kinks, The Who, Squeeze, Pretenders, Blondie, The Clash, REM, X, Phil Ochs, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon, The Replacements, etc.

On The Emerging Artist Stage

Gary Turrel grew up in Detroit, played cover songs in bars since 1964, then from 68 through 71 played in Europe while in the military; after discharge, he crisscrossed America. He’s written an original or two. Gary actively plays in the Connecticut open mic scene.
